Evening all, one interesting night at work. I finally got to talk to my manager about possible moving up. She thinks i would be a good candidate for the job but says i have a bit of improving to do first. I need to be happy to be there and show it, need to find ways to be out going, go out of my way to do things and so on.

Honestly i think thats the end for me, they're basically asking me to change who i am, i just cant be all happy and bubbly. I can be in a good mood when i do the job, other people say i do a good job. But i suppose its just not gonna happen for me. So i'm screwed and stuck doign something i hate

Had an irate customer too, something didn't ring up to his liking and i had alreayd cashed the order out. He stood there, screaming at my demanding his money back saying i was nuts and so on, im not paid enough to take that kind of crap from someone. He bought 3 cans of beer, which each rang up 6 packs, which leads me to believe he just took 3 beers from a six pack. The only thing missing from that scene was him having a gun

thats my rant for the day..

Keane, that is most likely what happened, it happened to me recently! I went out for something after work because I had a class at the place I work. I went with a friend of mine to get something to eat, we both got almost the same thing. But I grabbed a pepsi from a six pack and got rang up for the six pack, I didn't realize it until I looked at the receipt after we left....... Live and learn I guess, we all do that, sucks though that the guy got pissed at you for his mistake most likely.......

Cashier always take the brunt of attitude for the whole store. I learned that much back in the day.

see ya, this is the old "what have you done for me lately" which sucks for a bunch of NFL players these days. Including the Steelers who have made a few big cuts last week, including Hines Ward....

Peyton done in Indy?

The Colts have apparently decided to part ways with Peyton Manning.Report: Announcement on Wed.

Keane isn't there somewhere else in the store that you can work that don't depend on 100% customer service? It sucks when you have to work in an environment you hate. I hope it all works out for you man.
