Mornin guys. Home from work and still messing around with Ubuntu. Been a while since I've messed with anything like this and I'm enjoying this. It's actually a quite pleasant setup though and I'm really enjoying this. I may log into XP from time to time in order to keep the updates going (and to use my radar software when I'm storm chasing), but as far as when I use this thing day to day, I'm using Ubuntu. I'll be loading it on my 4 year old desktop when I have time to mess with it. That desktop has Vista on it so something has to change.

Good Morning Guys and Gals!
Thanks Mike for doing the morning blog!
Sarge;
I wanna hangout with you while your storm chaseing!!!!
Maybe, You would delete that Vista and use XP Pro? I would think that would be a more stable system for storm chaseing?
I have an extra version if you need it.
Rick:
Haha I'm up and on before you today.
Have a Great Day EV1!
Brent is still MIA..
Hope he's ok...Check in soon Brent!!!
Thanks TAZ on the heads up for photo bucket users!

David,
This laptop I'm using has XP Pro on it. That's what I'll use while I'm chasing. It's the desktop that still has Vista. I'll probably delete Vista off of it once I go through the files on there. I'll keep your offer in mind if I think of keeping a Windows based OS on there so thanks. I don't use the desktop nearly as much though so I don't know how much I could justify it. I'd also need more time to work on my computer projects as well.
Chasing is definitely fun. I've always been fascinated with storms since I grew up in Oklahoma. I'm hoping when I drive out there for a weekend in a month or so I have a chance to do some chasing. If not, I'll wait for an opportunity to chase locally some.

Good morning all!
That Powerful storm is smacking the Wisconsin area and nearby states with snow!
Also rain south Kentucky and below! Maybe even some T-storms!
The storm is tracking south-east still so the Mid Atlantic is going to see some snow!
Michigan members as well! Matt you weren't sure if you were going to get hit, it looks like yes but not to bad, 2-4 inches at the most and most likely tonight/tomorrow. IF it keep tracking southward you might not even see anything! It's a very weird moving storm.
Another system also moving into the Western US bringing Rain/snow depending on elevation!
