Evening everyone, didn't get up to too much today but I did get my car washed and waxed and vacuumed and cleaned the interior Carloss was almost smiling when I did a walk around. Even popped the sunroof up while driving which was sooooooooo nice, hopefully tomorrow I can get the other Monte cleaned up just as nice so they can sit in the driveway and look all shiny. Picked up some Armor All Fierce Shine tire foam, and I am quite happy with the way it worked, I usually use the meguairs product but this was on sale, and I'm happy to report I will buy again, even got a new car scent air freshener for the vents, which is ironic as I have no sense of smell, but I like people to get in the car and say "wow it smells nice in here" lol

I am sure Carloss is VERY happy after the good cleaning and the new car scent!!!
I had to stop on my way home and wash the road gunk off my car. Now she is sitting in the driveway(next to Franki-the 84) all shiny again(lol until morning)

not just yet, 1st i'm going back to look over that '58 Chevy apache and hopefully buy it (still can't find the damn wire for my camera to share the pics I have of it). but if that falls though I may look into this 4th gen

1987 Monte Carlo SS

she looks a little rough but for the price it's one of the better ones around I've found (other than the one I almost bought last summer). also may look into a 1st gen I know of locally that's been on & off for sale for about 10 years.

 

hmmm that 87 doesn't look too bad especially since he says he has the door, etc. Not a bad price!
If a 1st gen comes along at a good price around here, I am going to be all over it!!! LOL
