Good Morning All,

Nice ride to work this morning. It'll be a scorcher this afternoon though. The oppressive summer-time afternoon heat is upon us. Ugh...

 

Morning MCFer's....and happy birthday Brock. I'd like to wish a very special happy birthday to my 2007 white Monte Carlo: she turns FIVE today! How do I know this? 2007 was the last year they made Montes, and June 19th was the day the last MC rolled off the asssembly line in Canada, therefore I celebrate my car's birthday every June 19th! Last year she wore a pink bow on the roof and got a coffee mug with her picture on it, and some fuzzy dice. This year she's getting several mock-up magazine covers from Walgreen's ("Low Riders") with her picture.

I'm off to spend the week with some friend's kids, two dogs, and a rabbit, out in the country with a huge back field to explore. Should be fun if it doesn't get too hot. We'll have a large pool with waterfall and spa to cool off in. No computer but I'll check in here from home. Have a great week everybody!

Great to read in yesterdays Blog that Mike(JG) found the parts he needed to repair his Monte & be able to make his show this weekend. We are looking forward to seeing lots of pictures

HI Everyone. I was up early checking e mails and looking at the paint job on the Chevelle. Been busy on the phone since 9:30 am with some friends in Phoenix. Just might take the Chevelle out for a ride today. Looks like so far all the rain went north. GOOD stay there Also making plans to hook up with a member to get him his Monte Carlo shirt. ok brunch time. only 1 cup of coffee this morning. Got to eat something.

Hey Justin. Man I know what you mean. It woke me up again early this morning with all that lighting & Thunder. Ozzie jumped in bed and couldn't get any closer to us. Guess it scared him. Then I couldn't fall back to sleep. ok more later..................
