Hi `Ron, It's hard to imagine being stuck in that traffic in `India + with over 600 Million without Power ~> WoW...
We get power outages often where I'm at due to many storms & hurricanes, but at the most only for a couple of weeks, but most often only for a few hours or days...
It really makes your appreciate electric power when it returns 4-Sure..Wish you a safe trip to St Louis..

Sunny California is just that, a cool sunny and breezy 65 degrees at the moment. With a high of 79 for today. Life is good!

I haven't had the Monte out in about 2 weeks. I generally only take it out on the weekend if I am going up to my parents or somewhere decent distance. I don't take it out for small trips to the store, etc...I don't like putting the city miles on it. HWY miles all the way.

 

Thanks Michael for your post & update...You are living in Heaven on `Earth with those super temp's & weather 4-Sure.. It's over 105+ today in the warehouse(s)...The owner says it's a free bennie having a sauna (LOL)

Sigh. Today's attempt to install a spark plug non-fouled into the rear O2 sensor was a failure, and I'll have to go fail emissions now. I simply wasn't strong enough to remove the sensor's bolt, and I have to wait until dad can help me.

 

Good afternoon to all! I'm back to working on the Monte after taking time off to deal with health and other issues. The transmission and the engine are back in the car, the hardest part, and hopefully is smooth sailing from now on. I'll be taking pics of the build as I put it back together. I still need to powder coat a few more parts but should be taking care of that by the weekend.
