Rick, are you coming out of your man cave just to post here? Are you really watching a movie or just yanking our chain?? (Isn't that what bikers say?)
Where did I come up with that, you ask? It was lurking in the back of my brilliant and quite witty mind. I found it there, pulled it to the back regions of my frontal cortex, pushed it down to my mouth and spat it out onto the computer keyboard where it went on to show up on the Monte Carlo Forum. Now I need to go get a mop and sanitizer.....

Angie the magic pills have taken care of a good deal of the pain but gave me an upset stomach and a headache. It is gonna be a long night I think. Just had to run to the bathroom to empty my stomach. Yuk. At least I can blame that on the thought of Rick in a speedo. LOL. I may be sick but I still have my sense of humor.
Drew I couldn't drink that much.

My doctor told me an interesting fact about that - the ingredient in pain pills that gets rid of pain stimulates the nausea centers in the brain. That's why so many pain medicines make you sick at your stomach. So I guess it's an unpleasant trade-off, deciding which is worse - pain, or throwing up. Have you tried slowly eating ice chips? Or popsicles? That sometimes works for me. Good luck tonight - maybe you can sleep thru a lot of the unpleasant side effects.

Drink a cup of Green Tea for the upset stomach. For the headache, apply pressure (squeeze) the web of skin between your thumb and index finger on your left hand for about 5 minutes.
