Angie the magic pills have taken care of a good deal of the pain but gave me an upset stomach and a headache.
My doctor told me an interesting fact about that - the ingredient in pain pills that gets rid of pain stimulates the nausea centers in the brain. That's why so many pain medicines make you sick at your stomach. So I guess it's an unpleasant trade-off, deciding which is worse - pain, or throwing up. Have you tried slowly eating ice chips? Or popsicles? That sometimes works for me. Good luck tonight - maybe you can sleep thru a lot of the unpleasant side effects.

Gregg good luck with your kidney stones. I watched my wife go through a lot of kidney and bladder troubles a few years back. The thing with the pain meds or even over the counter Ibuprofen or acetaminophen is to take it in intervals with or without the pain. It will help.

Evening all. Didn't do too much today, other than take the kids to the dentist.
Watched the BCS Championship game last night. I'm not a fan of either team, so I thought it was boring and basically sucked. I don't expect teams to score a touchdown on every posession, but that was weak.
Found out my kids' elementary school is hiring a custodian today, when I was in the office to pick them up. I am applying and would love to get a job there.
