Thank you Mike for starting our blog again. Those are some sweat burn outs.it reminds me of a show I went to in Middlebury Vermont at Foster Motors. They used to do a nice Mopar show and at the end of the show we would gather by the roadside because there were a lot of burn outs as folks were leaving. Two things happened that last year and after that the show promotors made a burn out competition part of the show and forbid the burnouts upon leaving the show. Most people complied. Anyway a guy was leaving in an awesome AMX. Instead of waiting for the car to be pointed straight he desided to try to do a burnout while turning onto the road. It wasn't a good scene. He went straight across the road hit the shoulder and almost went over on his roof. I saw his driveshaft. It wasn't pretty. He was really lucky. Later a guy pulled out onto SR 7 which is the main secondary road going north and south in Vermont. Anyway he pulled hi Ram pickup onto the road. He staged and set his line lock. Almost as soon as he starts his burnout. As soon as the smoke starts pouring from the tires the first car coming down the road behind him is a Vermont State Police Trooper. The cop car was lost in all the smoke. He did an awesome burnout but it cost him more than a few miles on those rear tires.
