Morning everyone. So, since the Monte is stored for the winter right now, I'm driving the 94 Suburban around. I've started to seriously considering leasing something and am leading towards a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze LTZ (not really sure what color yet). I stopped by one dealership last night and told them I was considering a lease and curious of cost and was just looking for ballpark numbers. For a two year lease, they threw out on the table $1,500 out of pocket with $161/month (for an LS) or $250-$270/month (for an LTZ). I'm going to check with a few other dealerships around the area. I do get a GM discount because of my Grandpa (Cadillac), so that cost would possibly come down a bit. My Dad said he was going to talk with the guy he deals with for his leased cars. I'd like something new to drive around as a daily driver that's (A) not a tank and (B) not the Monte. We shall see.

It would figure that we are a tad on the warm side in SE MI for this storm. Looks like we get it Thursday into Friday but Thursday is suppose to be 46 and Friday 35 here. Thursday shows rain but Friday does show snow. Figures, because Thursday looks like the worse of the two days so we probably won't get much out of this. Couldn't have waited another day or two. Northern Michigan looks like it's going to get pounded though.

Glad to see you back Mike. My dad has that stomach flu that's going around too. No fun at all. Hope you're 100% soon.

Matt, one of my cousins has the Cruze. He got the LTZ. But his is a 2011 model. He really likes it though. No major problems. And is a decent daily driver. Not a muscle car by any measure. But is a pretty decent daily driver.

Matt, i've always liked the Cruze for what it is. I think they are sharp little commuter/ daily drivers. Good gas mileage, etc.

 

After that storm moves through the great lakes states are going to get pounded by lake effect snow
