Good morning friends at the office today.
Deuce will be in the shop untill wednsday of next week getting her new tranny
a GM SERTA transmission. supposed to be improved over the old stock one
Yep she caught that tranny virus that plagues the 7th gen Montes. :-(

Good morning guys.
Took the Cruze to a Chevy dealership yesterday to see if I could get a quote from their body shop for the hail damage - shop manager told me it would take him forever to write an accurate quote because of how extensive my damage is but he was thinking easily $2k, probably more (which I'm assuming). This falls under comprehensive thankfully so I'll be contacting insurance in the next few days.
Tadd, good to hear. Hopefully getting the Deuce back mid next week stands so you can make it to Woodward - I'll keep my fingers crossed for you sir.

sorry to hear about the duece but glad you will be getting an upgraded tranny Tad and wow Matt that's quite extensive damage to the cruze

Mel, nope, was on my way back from vacationing up North and had the Cruze. National Weather Service reported 1.75" hail in the storm that caused my damage and from what I experienced I'd agree - at least widespread quarter size hail, larger ones at golf ball size and slightly larger. It hailed for at least 5 minutes straight and it was loud - was honestly starting to worry about the glass. Wind was blowing extremely hard from the west so I have damage all down the passenger side in addition to all the top surfaces.
