Big day here, first day back to school for my girls. Then bonfire/pep rally for the varsity football team tonight!
I'm like Jerry, I don't really want to leave the forum just because I bought the Plymouth. It's not written in stone yet that I'll sell the Monte, but I do have too many vehicles. The Explorer is the first one on the chopping block, but I've already been advertising it before I found the Plymouth.

Good mornin' all & Jennifer! We've had 36 days in a row with no rain and 28 days in a row with temps above 70°. I think Mother Nature is spoiling us...

 

My weekend has arrived! 2 days off for relaxing!
Might do some rock climbing tomorrow so sorry if I'm not on, ill try to be before i head out tomorrow.

Good morning All,

Started my new job yesterday. Spent yesterday inprocessing with the new company. Today I'll spend inprocessing at the government office I'll be supporting. maybe tomorrow I can actually get to work.

Spent the weekend buillding a stacked stone firepit in our backyard. I'm about 75% done. I'll post a pic once complete.

Good morning everyone!

Started my morning putting together my CSC kit because I couldn't stand that a box of parts was just sitting there in my apartment...

 

Seattle Mike, isn't that a long time to go without rain in Washington??? I thought you all had beautiful gardens all summer cuz of the cool temps and daily rainfall. Here in St. Louis we went about a month without rain - temps in the high 90's most days - and the lawns all dried to a brown crisp. I had to dig up some flower beds that looked like they'd been scorched in a fire.

 

Yep, we surpassed the old record and still working on setting a new one. A few of the lawns in the neighborhood are beginning to brown, but I'm surprised how most of the trees and plants are still colorful...must be all that moisture in the soil from our usual rainfall. Our next door neighbor has a vegtable garden she waters at sunset and it has gone absolutely nuts with all the sun during the day. She says it's going to be the best harvest she's ever got from it.
