Food for thought.... right at this moment you are the oldest you've ever been and the youngest you ever will be.

Congrats, but I don't understand why half goes to the store.....

That's how a 50/50 works, 50% goes to the winner 50% goes to whoever is running it, in this case the store.

Hi `Keane,

Here's an idea: Start your own game Make it 75% to the Winner & 25% to you 40 game players @ a $1 each would be $30 to the Winner & $10 4 U
> or change the percentages %'s 2 what the employee's are willing 2 take/pay for a chance (?)... Run it everyday & that's a estimated $300 a month in your pocket...Then start it @ 10 more stores & get $3K a month, then 100 Stores & get $30K a month ...Then make sure we have your new jail house address, so that we can write U in prison for illegal gambling & organized crime acitivies... LOL > GOOD LUCK

Afternoon everyone.

I'm with everyone else. I understand what a 50/50 draw is. Used to help run one at local baseball games to help raise money for the teams. But why is the store making it a 50/50, instead of giving the winner the whole amount? Are they raising money for something/someone?

Really, I bet the store has enough $$, they should use the money for a big picnic or something for the employees...But then again not everyone participates???
