Had a tornado go though my town of Plainfield and into Speedway/Indianapolis just about an hour ago...so far, nobody has been reported as injured/dead, but houses have been destroyed.

 

That is terrible... Tornadoes are not fun... We had 3 of them hit our area a couple months back... I hope everyone gets everything sorted out and everyone remains safe..

 

Had one go through about 5 miles from me last night, too. Apparently ours couldn't have even been predicted. About 45 houses/business got hit.

 

Man that is crazy. I actually used to live about 20 minutes away from Plainfield. What category was it?

 

glad things are ok now! man we have been having some crazy weather this year haven't we!?!? my moms basement is being flooded with these storms, my septic tank is full because there is just too much rain and my field drains cant handle it. there was micro bursts last night in an area that is very heavy on traffic( they arent saying it was micro bursts...but they are not saying that it wasnt either. someone told my hubby that there was a tornado spotted over target which is only a mile or less from the damage in the link i posted)
