Looks like tons of fun. Except for the blown tire. How bad is the rim after the blowout? Glad that didn't happen on the track.

Thanks for posting the pics Duane. Would've been cool to see Brent's Bud Chev on the track with you in your Torino.

Thanks much `Duane for sharing & taking all your time to take & post all your super pic's. I really enjoyed seeing them (except for your blown out tire)

You sure get out & have some fun in life & @ all the tracks that you've been to in person. It's also great that you got to meet `Brent & spend time 2gether. I sure hope my future permits me to travel & meet others like you have.
I shall return again to review your thread again...Work keeps getting in the way of my MCF fun this morning
Wish you a great day & good picks for the Bristol Race this Saturday eve...EnJoy.

Holy crap Duane! I guess the new track surface is hard on tires! I, of course, had no idea this trip went sour on you until right now! It was great to meet ya, but now I feel guilty. Cuz I was only around for the fun part of the experience. Obviously, you never made it back to the school in time. And I forgot to thank you for buying at Bojangles. I actually thought the Bojangles was a little salty, but I like salt.

I could add pictures to this thread, but they are pretty much the same shots. I took some out the window video. I'll upload later. Sleep now. I just got home from a week of partying/ camping at Bristol. I look a little rough in those shots and that was only day 2...

Brent, the tire was going flat and I should have realized thats what that funny feeling in the steering was. I know those days getting back after a vacation are so hectic so feel free to take your time.

I actually got back to the school at 5:00!!!! I had a blown tire at about 12-12:20 in Wythesville, VA, had to get the state patrol to bring me a tire, and I STILL got to school at 5!! I even took a quick shower and changed clotehs first!!!( Was supposed to be there by 3 though).

I've got two new tires and a better jack. I took our old '93 Silverado and unbolted the scissor jack from the floor board and use it next time....
