I got the Monte Carlo to 130 one night (non supercharged, 3800, exhaust, computer tuned, K&N drop in filter). It still had some but I was bearing down on a pair of 18 wheelers and my exit was coming up, so I just eased up and took the off ramp.

You're going pretty fast when the lines become dots, you're going WWAAAAYYY to fast when the dots become a solid line again.

yeah over 150 the world looks like your at warp speed, but have to admit the 03 monte handles just as good if not better at 100 then it does at 60

Yeah, the Monte grips the road and it surprised me how the car seemed to just ask for more (if it had the engine to do it), it wasn't all over the place, it gripped and stayed in place perfectly. Still, it was a dangerous ride. A tire failure or a sudden move on the 3 cars I passed at that speed would have mean't death for somebody I'm sure..... wow, what a ride.

My '05 NA 3800 is limited to 125, and it feels so solid at that speed. I think it likes being there.

Prior to that I managed to get my 2000 4.3 Blazer up to 110. It didn't feel quite as confident.

i got the monte up to around 125 when i first got it. i'm sure it could have gone further but i got a little nervous and slowed it down.

fastest i've ever gone in anything i'd guess is at california speedway in one of our race cars, probably around 165-170ish, wide open around the track. pretty boring after a couple laps.

???? in an 82 cutless w/ small block 350 (bored 60 over w/all the goodies!), 106 in 98 grand prix gt(damn gov regulator!!) 120 in monte, busted the seatbelts plastic cover w/that one. found out the "race inspired spoiler" works, it was evenly clean on the left+rights sides of it!!
