Whats the top speed of a 2007 Monte Carlo SS and the Top speed of a 2007 Monte Carlo LT?

 

The LT governs at about 107mph I believe, and the SS I'm not too sure where it sits, probably 115mph governer?

With the governer removed though i think the SS can hit 156mph, the LT probably take a while to hit in the 130s

 

do all of them come stock with a governer? because i have an 2007 LT(3.5L V6) and ive hit 125mph with out pushing it to its complete limit

 

hmmm....I have an 06 LT 3.5L and it has a governor at 107mph...I thought they all came stock that way...and I heard the 3.9L is governored at 113mph

As far as the SS with the V8, I did not think they had a governor, I've heard of people getting them to 140 (topped out speedo)...

3.9l is governed at 114mph. I know cuz I have it, haha, but it was still accelerating fast up until that point, I'd love to get that removed and see what it can do.

 

the SS tops out at mach 7.... but anyone who has reached mach 7 does a time jump & is never heard from again..... its a much debated topic, and it really strikes a nerve for lambo / fararriee owners that a chevy is faster than their cars.....
