The Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren roadster was very tempting, but I'll take the Viper.

I was surprised to see a few north american cars in the list. Especially GM cars. Usuallyauto critics love to trash north american cars.

Dollar for Dollar - My Choice is:

BAD TO THE BONE - AND Modified Turbo get this thing to 854-HP for about $6Gs or a 3.75:1 HP to LB ratio!!! Cheaper than the 911 andit would eat it alive!

You and a guy that I work with are the only two people I've heard use that phrase.
Where is that from?

Seems to me that Corvette should have made this list, but that's just me. If I had my choice, I'd take the Bentley Continental GT in a heartbeat...most beautiful car on the planet, IMO. I see one at work once in a while, and it's absolutely stunning.

I do concur that the vette should have made it. Especially considering it tramples the vipers in all the overall test runs.
