Tokyo Drift's 71 Monte Muscle
Here is a segment on F&F 2's 1971 Monte Carlo. Figured it would be a good read.

Really wish F&F would go back to the heavier car focus of the earlier ones. I don't care how cheesy they were, I still enjoyed watching them. No doubt there are still some neat cars, but they're so short lived on the screen that they're barely more than a pretty set piece.
So many iconic cars like this in the early movies. Really loved this Monte Carlo too!
On a side note for those that like this kind of info, Lieberman's got a whole YouTube channel dedicated to going through each of these cara in detail- where they came from, what was actually done to them (which is unfortunately a bit of a letdown for most - this monte hero car obviously being a notable exception), how many were made, etc. Kinda neat to watch.
He's got some old pics and videos too (amazing how terrible cameras were just that short time ago) as the cars were being put together.
