After a long day at work today I was on my way out of the office when a co-worker tells me I have a flat so I turn go to the garage and get a wamp tank fill the tire with air and i'm on my way.I get more than half way home and come to a light that has turned red so I slow down to stop and so does the lady behind me we the guy behind her didn't stop and plowed into the back of her and pushed her into to me. She hard had any damage me and the guy that hit her had all the damage.It's going to the body shop tomorrow to see if it can be repaired if not state farm is going to total it out and pay off what I owe and then I go and get another one but will see I love my car and wouldn't trade for anything but if I had to get another one it would have to be the same.Here's the end result let me know what u think can it be fixed?

i hope you're getting that guy's insurance to take care of it, or at least reimburse your insurance company. please keep us posted on what the body shop says, and good luck. i really hope you are ok!!!!!

I hope you're okay? They say whiplash usually sets in several hours after the accident. So be careful cause you may have injuries you don't realize are there.

Someone hit my Monte and damaged it there would be another accident. The person that hit me hitting the street. Then I'd be setting in jail.

Remember, do NOT give in to the other person's insurance till you are COMPLETELY satisfied.

Do you have gap insurance? I don't, but I heard it's useful to have when you owe a lot on a car. I was considering it.

 

I made sure to get the gap insurance when I got my monte its totally worth it, If I were to get into an accident and still owe money on the car and the costs of repair exceeds what I owe they would write off whats owed on the car and give me what the car is valued at. So definitely worth it. Hope your ok man Ive been in far to many accidents so I know how ya feel. Keep us updated.

 

Thanks everyone for your concern and yes i'm feeling it my next started to along with everything else that was hurting me.I was taken to the E.R. because I felt pain in my legs from flying foward in the car I did have my seat belt on.The guy that caused the accident was driving a 94 Buick Skylark the lady was drive an 02 Ford Taurus.And yes he was moving it all happend so fast.As you can see the damage is mostly on the drives side rear there was skid marks on the street I think the lady was trying to avoid hitting me.The guy that caused the accident has state farm and I have state farm as well and when I got the car I gap insurance as well.The body shop my car is going my friend works there.He came by and I showed him the two pics I took with my money and said they might beable to fix it but if not or I want it totaled out they will.If I had to get another one I will guy at state farm said they would pay what I owe and then I could go and get another one.
