A black and white, or neutral tone, plate design would be sweet and look awesome on the black car. Since I have an interest in plates, I've actually done a few of my own MI plate designs; maybe something to submit to the State for possible future considerations. I've thought about doing that, just need to look into how/where to send that a bit more.

That Michigan situation sounds like they are following new yorks way! haha
We went from the white plate (Thankfully i still have mine) to this ugly Yellow and Blue one that looks terrible on all cars!
I don't run my front plate even though i am supposed to, I just don't see why it's necessary and it ruins the look of the car.

I know Michigan was considering requiring new plates every 10 years, and actually I'm okay with that and that sounds like it'll definitely happen, but two plates I'm not. The 10 year thing; there's so many people still running old plates that are unreadable because they're either (1) rusted so bad or (2) the paint has washed off or faded from the raised lettering. I also know Michigan has discussed going to a fully printed flat plate, where the numbers are printed with the image.
