That was absolute crap last night. Postponed the game because of rain. And IT DIDN'T EVEN RAIN YET!!!!! I think it was a conspiracy. Romney and Obama were mad because the ALCS game 3 got more ratings in New York and Detroit, than their slap fight they call a debate did.

I guarantee you nobody in Michigan/Metro Detroit was going to watch the debate lol.

That had to be the first time that a game has been postponed for rain when it wasn't raining. The field was just sitting there uncovered. I was completely pissed at first too because it wasn't even raining for the first 1.5+ hours of the delay. However, if the game had started at it's normal start time, the game would've been stopped probably in the 7th inning and the band of rain was pretty wide so it would have been delayed for a while. The rain did eventually move in so the only thing they could have really done to get the game in was move the start time earlier and that wasn't going to happen. It started raining in Ann Arbor a little after 9pm so at that point I knew they wouldn't get the entire game in anyway.

The Cardinals/Giants game got delayed in St. Louis last night because of rain too, but their game started at 4pm so they had plenty of time to finish the game at a reasonable time.

So what if they had to play at 2:00am? Sleep is over-rated. These guys make the big bucks. Suck it up big boy and get your butt to the plate. Some of us nightshift workers would've finally been able to enjoy watching a live game for a change.

Seriously... Yeah, I get it. The reality is, even if the teams were willing to play, which they wouldn't be, there wouldn't be many fans left to watch the thing.

10:15am here and it's currently a light rain here in downtown Windsor and downtown Detroit. 4:00 game this afternoon? Who knows at this point? Hopefully it clears up and the field is dry enough to play on.
