Although I believe its good to have a bigger dog in the house for watchdog purposes, Ours will scare the heck out of someone. Can't even walk down the sidewalk which is 100 feet away and he goes crazy. But funny thing is if they come up to our door he is growling but has a stuffed animal in his mouth. really viscious. I think he would be though in the right circumstances.
