You betcha, Dustin! A few weeks ago while on vacation my wife suddenly said, "You need to get a bigger bike". I said, "Uh... What?" Turns out she wants to start riding more with me. And my VFR750 was a great bike for me, but not as great for two-up comfort. Believe it or not, at first I was dead-set against it. I love the VFR. It's probably the best mid-sized sport-tourer out there. But as I thought more about it, I started to get into the idea of a bigger / better bike. There were about 4 models that would make both of us happy - comfy enough for her and sporty enough for me. This 2004 Yamaha FJR1300 was fairly close by, in great shape, and at a decent price. So far I'm lovin it. Of all the bikes I was considering, it has the most powerful engine . With a couple of small changes to customize it for commuting, I think I could be happy for maaaaaany years.
