Good job justin... the tint laws generally apply mainly to the front windows. At least around here, you could paint all of the windows around the back seat as long as your front windows are clear.mine are all 20%.
I'm sure they won't hassle you about it. If anything your pediatrician might be able to write you a "note" that says you needed it for Jack :P
It looks good for a DIY from what I can see!

Morning Amy, and thank you!
Thank you, in MN it's 50% all the way around and they are kinda **** about it but i figured it's the door glass and nothing else it should look lighter when they are looking at it lol plus amy drives this car 90% of the time so i figure she won't have a problem but if i was driving it all the time i probably would
i was actually kind of thinking the same thing lol
I took alot of time doing it, but after doing it once i'd feel comfortiable doing it over and over, you just ahve to take your time, and be a bit of a perfectionist!
It cost me $10 to do it i'm happy even if i have to tear it off!
another pic again not the best quality, i was at the carwash finishing up the little window and putting the door panel on

amy just sent me this pic

and a comparrison shot!

kind of wish i would have ent higher into the seal but i didn't want it to cause issues

Morning all working toward the week-end. garage is almost done except for floor tile which I will have to wait till next year as it costs some big bucks. Will post pics this week-end before & after
It really looks great justin. Going into the seal would cause any issues as long as you don't roll the windows down for a month. When I tinted my windows on the confound, I rolled the window down a bit and went to the edge.
afternoon all. Justin the windows look good and any small bubbles should come out after a bit. I've been thinking about doing mine for a while now but haven't got the patience. I'm just thinking about getting a precut kit from ebay. If it works out it will only cost me a $20 dollar bill and i like that.
Afternoon everyone!
I was so tired and exhausted yesterday, I didn't get a chance to get on the computer at all yesterday.
This afternoon I did something that I thought busted my front bumper.
A local coffee shop has a funky set up in their parking lot. It's hard to describe the layout. But they have a curb that separates the parking spaces from the entry driveway. The curb is 3-4 inches high, and about 6 inches wide. And here's the important thing: It's unpainted concrete. The same color as the parking lot surface. So it blends right in. I didn't know it was there until I started pulling out of the parking spot to leave. Put the car in drive, started pulling out slowly until I heard a loud scraping sound, a pop, and then the front left wheel going over the concrete curb.
The next sound was me screaming four letter obscenities.
With others behind me also trying to leave, I had no choice to back up and go over it again and go into another parking lot next door to check the condition of my Monte's front end.
I fully expected to find my front bumper cracked in half, and possibly my radiator pouring out antifreeze. I got very lucky (knocking on wood). It appears my bumper cleared the top of the curb. What I heard was the black plastic piece under the radiator support. It's not broken, but it's pretty scraped up. No other obvious damage so far (knocking on wood again).
