Morning guys.
Great Lakes region is looking at at least three snow makers in the next week. 1-2" this afternoon into tonight. 2-4" late Friday into Saturday. 10"+ is possible in a potentially significant storm for the middle of next week (Feb. 4th-6th); amounts depend on the track but majority of what I've seen show the brunt moving directly across southern Lower Michigan.
Current radar
Great Lakes are 62% ice covered; Lake Erie being 96% covered.
Pretty cool satellite image taken two days ago, on Jan. 28th, showing the ice along the western shore of Lake Michigan, against Illinois and Wisconsin, and the lake effect bands starting at the point in which the open water begins and draping across Michigan.

Matt you are always the bearer of good news
Good Morning Monte friends. Working from home again today. Weather is frustrating to say the least but I guess you all know that. Malibu has more salt on her than Salt Lake City has. Would do no good to get her washed in the immediate future. Poor Lydia.
Ronda is coming along fine, I cooked dinner last night Chicken Alfredo (man that box was hard to open)
YOu all have a good day and becareful driving out there watch out for the other guy that is not watching out !

A clipper system is moving into the great lakes area, It is moving quick but it'll drop a good 2-4 inches as it makes it though the area. you can see it clear on radar
Florida is also getting drenched in rain

Good Morning Everyone!
There is hope...we got a little rain last night!!!! Maybe we won't dry up and die out here in CA. LMAO jk. But seriously, happy to see a little water around here. It's so badly needed.
