Morning All,
Drove the old car to work today instead of riding the bike. I need to run the gas down to nearly empty in order to do some work on the fuel tank / fuel system this weekend.

Glad you had a change of pace and got to have some fun, Miller. My toughest job as a young Lieutenant in Korea years ago was finding ways to prevent my soldiers from getting bored when we weren't in the field. Busy - good; bored - trouble. Luckily in Korea we were in the field most of the time.

The Army is treating me very well. I went out of town last week and got to play REAL Army. On a daily basis, Army life is NOTHING like the posters. Last week? Wow! I dealt with Army Rangers, Helicopter Landings, UAV's, Detainee Operations... etc. My job is typically a boring one. It was nice to do some of the good stuff for a change. I have worked rotating shifts in the past, just never at this facility. The atmosphere is so different here, it's hard to adjust your pace to the schedule.

I'm finally finished with my night shift, but I have a ton of
personal stuff 2 `do 2day....(one is wax my surfboard), in hopes I can hit a few waves 2morrow or Saturday...
