  SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) - Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands braced for torrential rains on Thursday as Tropical Storm Isaac churned waves as high as 10 feet (3 meters) in the Caribbean and threatened to become a hurricane that could take a shot at Florida just as Republicans gather for their national convention.

  Some flooding was reported in eastern and southern regions of Puerto Rico as the storm approached.
  
  U.S. forecasters said Isaac will likely turn into a Category 1 hurricane by Friday as it nears the Dominican Republic and Haiti. It was expected to weaken a little while heading over their island and Cuba, then possibly move on toward Florida as a hurricane by Monday.

lol mike i did forget about that from last year, got nothing here really if i remember. But it was also about this time that hurricane irene was working towards us. We had to go home from vacation early. Hope floridians are ready

 

Afternoon all. I had a short day today and nothing till tomorrow night now so I will relax all day Friday. I probably will do some work around the house.

 

hi monte members...i came up to get spaces board & he was past out at his desk like a dead log. i moved him 2 his bed. i was going 2 move him and put him in a shipin crate but i didnt lol

the surf should be kickin with the storms-hurricane movin this way but i feel bad for space cause he cant get off work 2 go

I was driving home with the kids after dropping the wife off in Pittsburgh. She felt it in her hospital room, but we didn't feel it on the highway.

 

I was at work, felt like a fat person was running behind me and shaking the floor the smallest amount lol

Worst part is I think it might have been at my wife's family reunion Saturday. I can't be 100% certain, but I don't really drive it that often to big parking lots like Wal Marts, etc. and I always park far away. Oh well, thank goodness its not worse.
