There are many in the USA living in Boxes (It's very sad)..

The tornado struck close to us, but there was no damage here in our suburb of St. Louis. I hope Mike 03JG checks in to let us know if the scary weather hit his neighborhood.

David, keep up the good work! Have you tried carrying an empty cigarette pack filled with hard candy? It distracts you into thinking you're reaching for a cigarette each time you take a piece out and put it in your mouth.

 

I wouldn't recommend that, if you are trying to break that habit of smoking the last thing you want to do is carry an empty cigarette box. That will increase the temptation more because you see it all the time and know its presence. The guy at the gas station isn't going to care if you are trying to quit if you break and go buy some. I know a lot of people leave their last box like on a shelf as an accomplishment but that is after they have broken the habit.

Just my 2 cents.

That's a good sign that he's OK or at least has a net connection...I hope that he makes a post later & lets us know...

LoL `Angie, I've always been cheerful & always happy 2 get another day of `life 4-Sure....(I do get tired & some days R better then others)I think it's because I was raised by my grandfather & his senior citizen `friends that taught & set a good example of being happy & thankful in life for what we have vs what we do not have...I prefer 2 look @ my glass half full, then half empty Oh, the last month of this year I will `be a 1/4 of a Century `old I `do hope 2 grow `up in my distance future
