Unfortunately my old beach going(still, hopefully) friend the only thing that has abducted me is life. I suppose I owe many here at least an update on life.

When I left I believe I was working at a Ford dealership (blasphemy I know) but after all I am still a Ford certified technician,at least up until 2010, dating a wonderful girl, driving an awesome car and enjoying life.

The bad news is that I am no longer dating that wonderful girl. The good news, I am now married to her. I am currently in a "transition" year in my continuing education. I have 12 undergraduate credits and 6 graduate level credits. I suppose technically I am now a graduate student.

Life overall has been quite good but very busy. I am the acting engineer at a small hydraulic company here in Wisconsin and putting in 30 hours a week. Combine that with 18 credits, being the lead on 4 projects and being married, I have very little spare time. Also I am about 60 lbs lighter than I was when I last posted here and overall just enjoying life.

Finally, the most important subject. The Monte is still going strong. I have had to rebuild the transmission but when you go from 50 MPH to WOT on the freeway, you typically shear the splines on the direct drive shaft. I actually also have my first paint flaking and small rust spot. OH it bugs the hell out of me. I can not wait until it is warm outside and I can take care of it.

That being said this is a rather lengthy post. Anything else you'd like to know, feel free to ask!

My eyes are tired, but I hope that we see you more often 4-Real! I often think about many member's that have departed without a goodbye it made me sad & I cried > (No, but I could've >lol)

The MCF is like a international airport (?) > People are coming in & out all the time, but many stay longer then others & some like it so much that they stay 4-ever (It's an addiction) Good people are addicting 4-$ure!

I hope that your visits are more often. I've had to depart the MCF a few times due to work, but I always miss the Monte Family while I'm away. I've really learned a lot about people on the MCF from all around planet `earth...(wow)

Well the surgery is over and I am feeling good! The meds kicked in nicely and im happy as can be!

 

Hope all is well I've been on the forum a little bit less lately I have to admit I have been cheating... I've been frequenting another forum that is just as lovely as everyone here... But I can share my time with both of you guys.
