That's great! The power of prayer and a positive outlook can do amazing things. And when it doesn't, that's sometimes for the best.

Update for March 1. I have not heard any more about cancer, so hopefully that was a misdiagnosis or miscommunication.
Copy and pastefrom another forum.

"Just spoke with Glen, and he wanted me to tell everyone thanks for all the cards and concerns, it has really made a difference in his mindset and perserverance. To date he has died three times on the table and been revivied. Had about 4 surgeries for his neck and back and a heart bypass, which he said they had to redo. He is having more surgery this week with two operations, but his spirits seem great and it is all due to the concerns you have all shown and the wonderfull wishes and cards. he is in no way out of the woods yet, but every day he is a bit stronger!"[/align]

Awesome news. Glen is going to get out of the hospital and will be moving to a nursing home for physical therapy.
I spoke to him myself last Thursday, he was weak (had another surgery on his back Wed) but it was good to hear his voice. Said he doesn't have the body he came in with and would definitely have physical limitations.

That's great news that your friend is out of the hospital! Hospitals can be a scary place. I've had 2 surgeries in the past and my mom has had 3 lung cancer surgeries. The less time you spend in the hospital the better.

Great to hear he's finally out of the hospital. Being home should really help his improvement too. Not being awaken by the nurses 12 times a night should be really nice.

Wow, I totally missed this post. Will defiantly be in my prayers.

Any word on the bone cancer. That is pretty much a terminal condition.
