Well as i may have said before i believe my cat is failing because something is up with my exhaust no check engine ect but as I'm getting my oil changed in a bout a week my mechanic will diagnose it. i hope to just hallow out the cat but I'm thinking when does this is it time to get a nice red cherry bomb glass pack to replace the stock muffler. give me some ideas that'll be under 100 bucks and throaty

 

maybe ill get whatever hes gonna put on the Nova he's been restoring forever now

 

is it possible for a resonator to go bad?

 

Yes the baffles in the resonator can break

 

i feel like thats it but its worst or well technically best sounding when cold

 

im gonna have to let you guys know what it is when its diagnosed. the car does drone at highway speeds and i like it

 

You could have an exhaust leak, the tops of the resonators like to rust out from collecting water

 

i didnt feel a hole on it however i did fly through a huge puddle and it started

 

What exactly do you think is wrong with the exhaust? And i thought you couldn't have an aftermarket exhaust system where you live?

 

Crawl under it and look? lol

I don't really know why you think your cat is failing... loss of power?
