things not to say........

Cop: Do you know how fast you were going?
You: No, the speedometer doesn't go that high.
Of course there's the classic scene from the movie, "Planes, Trains, & Automobiles":
Cop: Do you have any idea how fast you were going?
John Candy: Uh, no actually. The speedometer melted.
Something else not to say to a cop:
Yeah, I was driving like that so I could have a story to talk about on the internet. You'll be mentioned on our website!

LOL...
Ok, completly true story here...I got pulled over about a year ago for going over 100 mph, when the cop came up to the window, he said "don't even try to tell me you don't know why I pulled you over." "have you ever heard of reckless driving?" I responded yes office...he then said "So how fast do you think you were going?" I responded over 100, but I know for a fact not more than 107, because my car is speed limited." He then said "Is that a fact?" "Why in the hell were you driving so fast?" I responded because I was late for a final, and would fail the class if I missed this final." I then added "I am so stressed, I can't handle all this pressure with school, and now this, I can't afford this." The cop then took my license to his car, and came back to tell me "you know what, I think I'm crazy, but i'm going to let you go for some reason." "try and keep it under 80 please." and that was the end of that, away I went without a ticket ...How I managed that, I have know idea, I think he felt bad for me because I pulled the "i'm in school" line on him.
Just thought i'd share that, I would have never believed it if it wasnt me it happend to!

dude that's awesome. maybe i should try that next time i get pulled over. since i apparently still look like i'm in high school.
when i went for my pedicure last night, the tech asked me if i was going to the prom tomorrow too. (there were a ton of girls in there getting their nails done for the prom which is apparently today.) i laughed and told her no, maybe 10 years ago though...
