Testing your PC Speed.
So me and my friends have used this site to test how fast our PC's run when on the web.
We wanted to find out who had the best connection to run a server on.
The site we use is:
http://www.speedtest.net/
I think its accurate for the most part, but we dont really know.
My DL speed is 16.78 Mb/s
My Upload Speed is 1.49 Mb/s
Ping is 16ms
What is your speed?

Well I have Att Dsl for starters 1.5mb package, yours blows me away. What are you using?

0.28 up
70ms ping
I run that occasionally. Thing is it doesnt seem that slow to me.

I have some Old Internet gear tho from 2000.
My speed is High but my mother wants it higher
So i have so more updated parts i need to install.

My mistake, I checked my service and I am only on the 1.5mb package so I fixed earlier post. I usually dont have any trouble but some vids start out slowly, I may up it to the 3.0 service, checking it now. I pay 30 for Dsl express, to double my speed to pro is 35, I may do that. What pi**es me off is that a new customer can get the 6mb package for 24.95 and I will have to pay 35 for a package half that and I haev been a customer for years with them. Shows something is wrong with this picture and the way we get reewarded for loyalty. Sucks big time
