But you validate me Taz. Those are the ones you are supposed to get, because those are the domestics. Its the imports, more specifically the Japanese sedans, that has no character. I have no idea why these models succeded - I guess a lot of people desire having a car that looks like everyone elses car. There is no way I would score as well as ChevySSGirl on this test. This one is a little tougher with some models, because I could remove the "black outs" and you probably still couldn't name the car - they are that un-original. Also, like JamieLynn, I'd never (in a million years) be able to tell you the number (instead of a name) of those cars. That's why I still gave her full points for just getting "Lexus something" or "mercedes something".

Its a rule of thumb - if they didn't take the time to give the car a name, they probably didn't take the time to actually really design a car either.

Seriously, I know what you mean. And I couldn't agree more.

I've been a subscriber to Consumer Reports magazine for many years. And every month they rate 4 to 6 cars. Most of them imports, usually. They show pics of all the cars at the same angles. And I've noticed the same thing you did.

Most of those cars in your pics look like you could very easily swap the doors, and they would fit no problem.

it's sad, but you and taz are right. almost everything in those photos is interchangeable with one another.

makes me that much more happy to be driving a good looking, recognizable 2 door coupe!!!

I recognized the Benz.

But I have to admit I still couldn't identify some of the imports. Nor do I really care about the imports. I've always liked domestics.

Good point Brent.

I thought I'd revive this thread/ game since I noticed that Taz and Amy were the only posting member still active on The Forum. This challenge got harder now that the models are nearly 20 years old
