Taking a peek and let me know what you think
I updated my resume, and I could use some critical eyes on it. Tell me what you think, and if you hate it, tell me you hate it and why!
THANK YOU in advance!!!

Hi Craig,
I haven't seem to many resume's in my life, but
I'm sure impressed with yours.
Good Luck on your Search, but I'm sure it won't be long
before you are back at a super job.
Wish you the best.

RE: Taking a peek and let me know what you think
I've looked at hundreds of Moldmaker and non-moldmaker applications thru the 36 years since high school. I've been in business a couple of times. My experience isn't as vast as your's, but I'll try to give you my honest opinion.
I agree about losing the "not needing insurance", as you never know. That COULD be a negotiating point.
Core competencies and skills are basically the same thing. Kind of. Not sure about that one, but I always try to follow the K.I.S.S. rule (keep it simple stupid).
I didn't like the 'University of Hard Knocks", nor the IQ statement. I want to see specific education achievements. Be specific on degrees and cert's. Also specific accomplishments, such as awards, magazine features, etc.
I'd like to see the executive highlights merged into the career progression. I disagree that ONLY the last 10 years is important. What you learned before that doesn't count? Forget the car wash job after high school, but ANYTHING major, as you have, is TOTALLY relevant.
Your 1st paragraph I like. What are you looking for, tho? Management, QC, ???
I think you might consider using a head hunter.
I also think you should consider buying or starting your own auto dealership. Your OWN chain! Sounds like you have the automotive experience to pull that off, but I know it's a tuff business. Industry is tuff, also.
Hope my honest opinion is what you wanted, for what it's worth.
Good luck and may God bless you, Craig!. Take this opportunity to go to the NEXT level.

I'd agree with this one. Besides, companies don't need to know whether you need it or not. That shouldn't factor into their decision whether or not to hire you.....

I, too, would lose the U. of Hardknocks and the no insurance parts.
Good luck in wahatever you decide. I know you will be successful - you've already proven you have what it takes.
p.s. They can't lay you off if you're the boss
