1957 Chevy 150 Sedan Concept. The following is the latest auto concept from Chevy Cars. That is 1957 Chevy 150. 57 Chevy 150 is classic cars. New for ’57 was the 283 in³ small-block V8. The fuel injected version was theoretically also available to the 150 buyer. The 1957 chevrolet 150 had side trim similar to the 1955′s Bel-Air trim. 56,266 ’57 Chevy 150 four door sport sedans were made, compared to the approximately 75,000 2 door versions.

1957 Chevy 150 Engine

Different with 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Concept. In 1957 Chevy 150 engine is the dual-quad 283 was available in either a 245hp (hydraulic cam) or a 270hp (mechanical cam) version. The batwing air cleaner used dual air filter elements for the pair of Carter carbs. Igniting all of that air and fuel is a factory original GM dual-point distributor. Feeding the thirsty Carters is an AC high-volume mechanical fuel pump. The 283 with its short stroke was a fast revving engine for its day and, if tuned properly, could make lots of high-rpm power on the street or at the track.
1957 Chevy 150 Trunk

Look at that trunk! You could fit three bodies in there. The expansive size of a Tri-Five trunk made it ideal for the nomadic salesman (or mob hitman) who had to live out of his car for weeks at a time and haul his products across countless state lines.
1957 Chevy 150 Interior

This car’s clean lines aren’t cluttered up by any fancy options like heat or even a radio. Built well before anything that could be considered a portable music device was built, one can only wonder what the car’s original owner did while he was driving. Any ’57, from the Bel Air down to the 150 could be ordered with as many, or as few, options as the buyer wished.
1957 Chevy 150 Rear View

Once the sedan was back together, Dave and Kenny trailered the car from their home in Melbourne, Florida, to the Classic Chevy International 2006 Winternationals at Old Town in Kissimmee, Florida. In its first showing to judges, the car scored 993 on the 1,000 point judging scale, a near perfect feat that most restored Tri-Five owners dream of.

That 150 is sweet and it is local so perhaps I will see it some day. Like most I prefer the top of the line Bel Air. I would like to own one some day.

I like seeing one restored original without a crate engine, lowered, real rims instead of American Racing, and even without the fancy Bel Air trim package! Cool find, 'Space!

So true.

Or the popular BelAir-ized 210 2-door Sedans. I personally do not like them. BUT.... it ain't my car is it?

Hi `Brock, I agree...Thanks Member's for your post(s) & comments...To me it's just 2 nice to drive it on the street
I really like it, but I'd want to be super rich to own a show car like this...I really don't want a classic that you can't get out and really drive...& enjoy...I don't want to just take it to shows & say "Look what I got " & then put it back in2 a trailer & take it back to storage.....But, Im happy that there are those that restore & show them for all of us to enjoy...

"One could only wonder what the car's original owner did while driving"

Actually driving, since cell phones and texting weren't invented yet.
Or hurrying home to watch the latest episode of "I Love Lucy" on his 12" USA-Built Zenith TV set..

Very sexy Chevy by the way!
