Afternoon guys. Just relaxing after church at a coffee shop nearby. Boeing is opening a new facility Q2 of next year and I went ahead and put in for a job with them. I'd been thinking about it ever since they announced the facility but I'm not one to step out of my box. Took a little encouragement from my mom to step out and take a chance. She made a good point that Boeing is a good company to work for, and they'll almost certainly pay better than I'm getting paid now. Another benefit I thought of is that it will get me out of the oil industry and the ups and downs associated with that. When oil was strong, I was working 60 hours a week but now that it's down, I'm barely getting by. There's not much in between. I don't see any room for advancement where I'm at anyway.
Hope y'all are doing well. I'm not sure what I'm going to do for the rest of the evening. Hopefully I can get to sleep fairly early tonight since I need to have my sleep pattern set for me to be at work at 0700 Tuesday morning. Too bad that move to first won't be permanent.

Evening everyone, just enjoying the evening, was invited to a friends to play some acoustic guitar in their gazebo tonight (weird how a guitarist always gets invited to a party lol) so probably going to do that.
