lol space the cabin really isin't that nice but we're working on that. no pics of it yet but hopefully i'll get one next weekend. the porch started out just being a 4x4 square resting on cinder blocks and it had rotted compleatly through so every time someone went into the cabin they would fall through. the new porch is 5 X 12 and runs from the door along the front under the front room's windows. it's got enough room for a couple of chairs and a gun rack for folks to rest their rifle on during hunting season. after seeing the finished porch my buddie who owns the cabin & property wants to add a roof too so we can sit out if it's raining instead of all being crammed in the cabin (which is 35 feet long but only 8-10 feet wide, built on an old trailer frame)

Thanks for your reply...It sounds like a fun place & I'd love to have a old cabin in the mountains for a hunting hangout & just a place to get away from `all the crazies in life... You have a good life in them there mountains of the Pocono's 4-Sure...

Morning all!
Headed out today and cruise the new area of Vestal so we know what roads go where/what's around!
Supposed to be a Astronomy Observatory with a huge telescope just around the corner from where we live!

That's supposed to be it, Gonna go see it and the hours you can take tours

Also gonna take the camera and the Monte in case we see any picture places that are too good to pass up!

Found Mr. Bear that the neighbors all warned us about in our neighbors yard! Gotta pic of him, he's a biiig black bear! Never seen a bear in the wild before! Gonna have to be careful when we have fires in our back yard :p

Many people are surprised that we have bears in Florida...They are not as big as the bears in your area...

I've only seen a few, but I like them..

Well here he is!
Literally 3-4 houses down from our new place haha!
One of the neighbors told us the other day she saw it cross the road right next to our new place, now we saw him first hand!

 

Dave, sure it makes you feel good running things when they go good. But i'd rather see the compensation in my wallet, but they're not willing to do that where I work. They'd rather just throw more things on my plate for the same pay which is a slap in the face in my opinion.
