Thank you again Teacher Todd for starting our daily blog. I've been home for just over an hour. My night at work wasn't overly busy but it wasn't dead either. Some nights all the calls are stupid calls. Stupid calls are calls for a piece of equipment that doesn't work. The reason it doesn't work is because they didn't push the button that says power, or a call for a water leak. I respond to the site and there is no water of there is no path of travel to the water on the floor which usually means somebody spilled a glass of water. Tonights calls were all like that. I don't mind that so much.
I hope all the members have a good night and a good morning. I am starting my weekend. I am ready to roll over and go to sleep. The girls are all sleeping so I should take advantage of the peace and quiet. Good night. I will check back in when I wake.

Mornin' all. We're currently sitting at 46° with 86% humidity. I was lazy yesterday and didn't want to drag out all my cleaning supplies, so I took the Monte through a brushless car wash for the first time. I have to admit it did a really good job. As you drive into it high pressure water cleans the underside of the car. Then water nozzles move around the car to remove the loose dirt. That's followed by a pre-wash soak, a rinse, a wash, a rinse, another wash, another rinse, a clear coat protectant and a final rinse. Then the car is dried by air as you drive out of the booth. The whole process took a little over 10 minutes. The only areas I had to dry were the door jams and under hood/trunk. The Monte came out looking fantastic. When I got home I vacummed, washed the inside windows and detailed the interior. Of course, now that she's all clean again there is a lot of rain in the forecast for today. Hope everyone makes a good one of it today.

Morning, MCF'ers - another wet night in St. Louis, and they're predicting snow flurries and high winds today. I don't remember what the sun looks like. Mike, I use a drive-thru car wash a lot, especially if its too cold to stand in the driveway and get wet hosing down the car. Ours is like your's - spray underneath, wash & RainX & protectant and then air dry. Nothing but soap and water touch the Monte.

Lou I'm looking forward to your party. I'll be there later this afternoon - should I bring anything? If it's as wet where you are I'll bring my swimming suit. See you soon! :p

That's the first time I've ever taken my Monte to an automated car wash, but I might do it more often during the Winter.
