Morning Angie. I grew up in Michigan back in the 60's. A bunch of us used to make the so called loop on fri , sat and Sunday afternoon. Fri & sat were big cruisin nights just outside Detorit area. We would hit A&W's Big Boys , Tel ways. Then head over to the east side of town on Woodward ave. Telegraph and Woodward were the BIG streets for all that was going on car wise. We'd start out around 7 pm & wouldn't get back till after midnite. We used to be able to back in to a spot at a Drive inn restaurant. Now days no way. But we had car Hops with skates on to take our orders. And you had to order or they would kick you out! You can't do that any more thats for sure. Those were some of the best times of my life back then. We also would meet ay a shopping area called Korvette's. Parking lot was hugh. After 9 pm all the stores were closed. So all the HOT cars would show up there. I mean cars backing off trailers and a lot street strip car also. WOW bring back memories of some real good times

 

Afternoon.
Last night i went and saw 'The Women In Black, and i have to say, if you have children, you should not see that movie lol. Its Scary. I would give it a 7 out of 10.
Im going to be cheering for Newyork today since my second team is the Dolphins.

Hey Space. Nope I didn't sleep in. I was up early. Around 7am here in AZ. But jumped in the shower, made some coffee, help clean up the place. Now were heading for our walk. Then to the store and Trader Joe's for some wine. Then head over to my Wife's brothers for dinner and some Fottball. Late getting out of here. My daughter just called. Her & my wife were on the phone for like 45 mins. Now were out of here for the day. GO GIANTS EVERYONE please be careful driving today. Don't drink & drive. LIFES too short to make that mistake. Hope everyone has a great SUNDAY. Watching football or not! C YA

 

Morning everyone just sitting here waiting for the superbowl. My in-laws will come over and we will have a nice meal. We decided on pulled pork sandwiches and all the trimmings. Also my wife made a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting.

Morning everyone, space pushing carts is a nice change from being on register all the time. They were way behind on carts, in that picture i had a row of 20 in front of me, which is a bear to handle Normally you bring in 6-8 at a time.

Seattle mike, sorry to hear five guys wasn't very good. On ocasion they can be oddly greasy but usually its very good. I'm surprised it wasn't Like Gregg said, maybe try it again on another day.

Not too much planned here today, no work. Do have a little school work to finish. Got some work to do in my shop, then i'll be watching the game later

Afternoon all, sitting out in the workshop trying to get a few things done. When my friend was here he brought alot of extra parts, got computers all over now lol

 

Space that's my idea of a really fun shower. I've never had one like that.

 

Angie in Kissimmee Florida just outside of Disney there is a place called Old Town. Every Friday and Saturday night they have a huge car show and car cruise. They also have an A&W. It's an awesome place. I can't wait to get back on days again. I used to cruise there every weekend.
