Just a reminder that many of us here should go back and re-read the rules of the MCF. Gossip and bashing, even in fun, is getting out of control again. If it's not auto related, then it MUST be located in this "off topic" section. Remember that when poking fun at someone is posted, please go back and re-read what you wrote before posting. This is a "G" rated forum, and everything written will be taken literally. Younger members, or members children, don't get the connection to some old movie. If you don't want your 7 year old reading it, then you better not be posting it.

We WILL keep this forum G rated, and if infractions or even banning of members if required, so be it. We ban unwanted or unwelcome new members all the time, due to spam or trouble making comments. There are too many established members pushing the limits lately.

Let's keep it clean, and if it's not car related, keep it in the off topic section PLEASE!

'Space - I'm a long time fan of Stevie and his brother Jimmy. It was sad that he was taken from us just as (after beating alcohol and drugs) he reached what many feel was the high point of his career. He is one of my favorite blues artists.

RocknSS04 - I posted in the 'old movie' thread and can't help but feel I may have pushed a bit over the edge with a comment or two that I made. If any of my comments offended you or any other member I apologize for my actions and will refrain from any further comments of that nature.

Mike, Wayne's post (RocknSS04) is referring to conduct on the forum in general. But it was sparked by something that happened in the Nascar section. Without naming names, (the inappropriate posts have been deleted now anyway) members had engaged in a discussion that a moderator deemed inappropriate. The staff posted a warning to stop the discussion immediately. The very next post (posted 20 minutes later), blatantly ignored the staff's warning.

Everyone should consider this a friendly warning. Don't ignore the staff's warnings.

We try to keep this as friendly a forum as possible. And the staff try to be friendly also. But it's hard to stay friendly when someone blatantly ignores your instructions to knock it off.

Just to clarify, this is not aimed at 03SSLE specifically.
