Its a very active thread this mornin'. But I guess it was just really active late last night

I want to hear more about this movie. Did you like it? Were you a big fan of the original? I think this is a tough movie to remake without director Paul Veerhoven. I like the way he does tv newsflashes in sci-fi movies like Robocop and Starship Troopers. I hope the new movie tries this.

I don't get out much to movies anymore. I used to go a lot, sometimes by myself - my wife thinks that's weird. Anymore when I go, it's usually to a family movie with my little one.

This week-end, in Canada, it is Family Day (Monday is actually Family Day). So we probably will go to a movie or something. It's kinda dumb that Canada celebrates Family Day in a month when it is too cold to get out with the family.

 

A chance of snow, mainly after 10am. Partly sunny, with a high near 21. Calm wind becoming north 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Hi `Brent, I just watched the vid on the above link I posted.
WoW, it was a wreck'in race 4 Sure & I laughed when I seen the S.S. Pace Car catch on fire. (Batteries to power the strobe lights caught on fire) Glad it wasn't a defect by Chevy GM.

I hope I can watch some of the races this year. Life/work keeps getting in my way
