Sunday Drivers - No Montes in Sight

Sunday Drivers - No Montes in Sight
Ijust HAD to pull my baby Roxanne out and take her for a ride Sunday. The weather was decent, the roads were dry and salt free, since it hadn't snowed in about 2 weeks, and it just kills me to see that nice car all covered up with no place to go....
2 things bothered me about my nice, leisurely(LOL), Sunday drive:
#1 - Sunday drivers - WTF - I guess some things never change, LOL. I guess all those other folks out there don't realize that Roxanne and I like to go fast, and we really don't appreciate left lane bandits and people that cut us off!!!
#2 - this one REALLY bothers me, during my Sunday drive of about 50 minutes, which included I-90,neither my wife or I saw even 1, swear to God, not 1, other Monte Carlo of any year on the roads. That was a real bummer, let me tell you.It may sound strange, but I always wave at other Monte Carlo drivers, because there are so few where I live.
How about everyone else, do you normally see other Monte's in your daily or weekend jaunts? On a regular basis I only see 2 or 3 other Monte's where I live, one 98 or 99 Z34, and 1 2003 LS, how about you?

no shortage of montes in iowa. think it depends on where ya live though, seems like i heard that the last year or few years of the monte, california was buying more vettes than montes.

Monte Carlo's are HUGE in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, and Michigan.
On my way to work, each day, I must see at least 10 of the 00-05's and at least 3-5 of the 06's and 07's.
Even the new V8 SS's don't bother me. Cause they know they'd be crushed.
I raced a red one with black stripes the other day (SS 07). Close on highend, but with the blower, I had him off the line. =)
