Kicking off the blog again. Waiting for some pizza to heat up. Probably gonna try and catch a few Zs before I get up for church in the morning. I did get to talk to Brooke for a few, but since I woke up from my nap pretty late and she'd been up since 7 that morning (after not leaving the christmas party till midnight) she went to bed and didn't talk long. She did seem pretty happy to hear from me so that's a good sign. All I can do at this point is just wait and see. Amazing how something can change your outlook on relationships in a heartbeat.

 

 

Thanks for the well wishes Space. I just find it interesting how things happen. As I've mentioned before, my faith is very important to me. The last week or two, my daily bible studies have been covering what the Bible says about relationships. When it started talking about relationships, I was thinking "what's the point? I don't want to get in a relationship till after I get back from deployment. Wouldn't be fair to me or the potential date." I'd lost track of everything being for a reason and last night kind of humbled me a bit and made me open my mind back up. So at this point all I can really do is pray about it, keep an open mind, and see where things go from here.

Thanks Space. I'm just trying to keep an open mind as I was originally completely opposed to starting another relationship at this point. I think my devotions were intended to open my mind to that possibility and I didn't pay as close attention as I should have.

 

Mornin' all. I'm just sitting here enjoying some quiet time and a cup of Komodo Dragon coffee. It's 43° with 93% humidity. We might get some showers this morning (Figures, I washed the Monte yesterday afternoon) but it's supposed to be sunny this afternoon. I sure hope that Vixen wasn't badly injured in that crash. Rumor has it that 'Space was 'Blitzen' and trying to avoid a 'Comet'. Another witness said they thought the HID nose that Rudolph had installed was the cause of the accident.
