All these new V6s that are so prevalent love to advertise their big HP numbers but their torque leaves something to be desired. An L67 puts out more torque than these newer V6s. That's why your 05 feels faster off the line. More torque. Honestly the Nissan V6s probably have the closest hp to tq ratio of em all anymore. People see hp numbers and don't realize that's not what gives you that feeling of being shoved back in your seat. And the car makers use that to their advantage. Plus, HP is only a calculation based off the measured torque and RPM range. IMO, it's a lot easier to open up the higher parts of the RPM band on a motor than it is to increase low to mid-range torque, especially on an N/A motor.
The Mustang V6 is deff gonna be better than the Camaro, the 3.7 has 290ftlb of torque where the camaro has 260 i think, just get a used Challenger R/T Amy ull be much happier i think
It all depends on my budget - I'm on the very edge of not being able to afford a used Challenger RT. I found a used 2010 RT classic in WI - it's white which I'm not thrilled with and doesn't have HIDs and that's one of my deal breakers - I wonder if I can get stock HIDs installed? But it's in my price range and it only has 15k miles on it.
Amy im curious as to what you thought about the V6 mustang, i wouldn't mind having one. Curious as to what they're like.

AMY. The Challenger has a bigger backseat & bigger trunk. It would be hard for me to pick one from the other. Both are nice cars. I know one thing the Camaro is easy to work on as far as the motor is concerned. Everything is right up front. Not sure on the Mopar.

But it's alll good stuff. So how do you stop?

prob wont work but worth a try
