Amy, I know just how you feel. I went to a car show a few yearsbago , the judges were supposed to walk around and judge the MOST CUSTOMIZED cars. At the time I had my old car with custom lowering springs and brakes so I had a wheel off showing that, full custom interior, custom built for the trunk system, and a very custom engine compartment.
Everyone else there had lambo doors a land 20"- 26" rims and that was it.
The judges seriously WALKED right past my car but stood next to all the others for 20 mins inspecting their rims.
You see... I like OEM style wheels and that's what I had on that car at the time . They told me that if it didn't have small dirty shoes (they weren't dirty) I would have won.

Tie rods are done, not I'm going to change my brake pads, they are squeaking quite loud!

What type of pads are you putting on ? How's your rotor's ?
Have you changed brakes b-4 ? I have, but I always ask one of my friends to check them after I'm done..(I don't trust myself when it comes to important items like brakes.

Wish you a easy install & great stopping power from your high speed driving (LOL)...
