Question Starting a Business ?

Hi Member's,
Did you ever consider starting your own business ?
I know that the BeachBum's and I have for many years....
We want to start a Surf Shop on the Beach, but we are still in the Dreaming/planning stage.
I know several of our member's have started their own business: Keith & his wife, GothKid Jonny, Brittany, and more...* I think Member's like `Ryan from BuzzKill, Pa would be great @ starting his own
auto find/parts business : ) & `Justin, for repair business, Teacher `Todd for fishing tours with his yatch, J.J. for his own graphic DeSign Business, Bump'in Chad 4 a Auto Speed Shop, Mod `Matt for his own Body Shop business etc:
I hope they post their comments/advice etc...

MM well it aint easy, first off i would look more into it. Building, stock, ect. Then look for a good location that would benifit you business. "Surf shop near a beach lol"

Then you need to get you business out there, Vistaprint.com does a great job for business cards and other promotional stuff like pens, and other great stuff.

Dont give up tho daydreaming can go somewhere with some motivation

it most def is rough starting a business. my dad created our automotive repair business over 10 years ago & its been a long rough journey to get it where it is today. our biggest problem now-a-days isnt the economy so to say, it's the employees. they're always screwing up something whether it's my dad equipment or something that they shouldnt be screwing up on. when & if i ever open my aquarium, i dread the employment part of it =/ && i havent gotten any business for my detailing stuff yet bcuz it's been raining so much lol

My parents had a flower shop in our basement/garage for 15 years, it was pretty cool for them. they were very well known for their excellence in decorating for weddings!!

this is what my dad was all about, here is his obituary from when he passed away if you like reading stuff like that!
