Default Star trek

Anyone a fan?

We went to see it friday. My girlfriend Debbie liked it. but as a fan of the original I wasn't so easily convinced.

Still, it is a good movie.

I felt X-men was better. We saw it saturday.

Space, my personal vote I'd give the movie a 3.5 rating.

Lots of action. But TOO many coincidences.

Being an original Trek fan I know Dr. McCoy and Kirk were friends from years past. Before they were assigned on Enterprise. Kirk asked for McCoy as chief medical officer on Enterprise.

In the movie they have McCoy (more or less) sneaking Kirk on board.

R.J., thank you for your review, I appreciate your words/time/post. I've never been in2 the Trek'ie thing, but I've always love any movie about outer-Space : )

I really enjoy how the creator's of Space-movies envision in their `mind, how far outer space looks 2 them, plus their visions of spaceships & planets that they create from within their `minds.

Then some great scripts/plots....Amaz'in Minds 4-Sure

Also the creative artist that design, & make it real for many to enjoy. We are fortunate to be able to visualize their talent on TV & on the Big Screen. WoW, I'm motorTyp'in again : )
Peace/Out & Wish the reader a `Happy

Thanks for the post hijack Space. lol

You can thank my middle sister for me being "Into" Star Trek. She got me hooked on watching the original show.

Right now I'm watching Enterprise on the TV.

Well that and visiting my home away from home. (MCF)

I need to get out and so some shopping. Or hit ebay? I need to find the ship from the movie. See I have a collection of Star Trek ships from years past. I have many of the electronic versions Playmates Toys released back in the 1980s & 90s.

Those I don't have, my girlfriend Debbie has. lol

We have a very good movie critic on a local radio station here and he gave Star Trek rave reviews. I don't usually go to movies, but I think I will have to go and see this one.
