SS Vin #?
Would anyone be kind enough to provide me with a SS Vin #...
Stupid people at GM cant call up a part # without a f***ing Vin # (trying to get a price on the SS ground effects appearance package seeing as i cant really find one, didnt think i could, but tried)
Or does anyone here actually know the part #'s?

There is no such thing as "SS" ground effects. They are called "high sport appearance" ground effects, and they cam on non SS cars, also, just not many.
If your parts dept is THAT stupid, then they will probably want list price, also. You need a different dealer. Besides, you won't be able to afford the ground effects, no matter WHICH dealer you go to
HINT: Don't pay more than 75% on ANY special order item from a dealer. 65% is better yet. I do it all the time. If they wont sell it to you for that price, go down the street to someone that will. I NEVER pay list on ANYTHING from a GM parts dealer

*blush* stop. i do what i can around here. for the record, long as you give them the yr/make/model, they should only need the last 8 digits of the vin #.

hi, sorry for the homer posts, not attemting to say anything bad about anyone on here, i was just doing the copy and paste thing, i really hope nobody thinks i was being a jagoff on here, believe me, i have the biggest guilty conshious (bad spelling) of anyone. sorry again, i will be more respectful in the future if i don't get the boot from the MCF patrol, thanks

rocknSS04 - They want 1075 CND for all 4 parts, regodamediculous!!, i wouldnt where else to get it but the dealership... if only someone would order one from a dealer thats getn shut down here in canada and never pick, im sure i could get it for dirt cheap...
I dont even want to know what they want for a license plate filler.... probably 150$... thiefs!!
