Default springtime birds

Here's a pair of bluebirds that nest here every year taking turns feeding their 5 youngsters (yes, I peeked).
Also have a pair of Pheobes that have nested on my shop porch that just hatched 5 babies Monday and Tuesday, no pic of them yet this year. They successfullyraised 5 last year also.

Very nice pics. I guess spring is on the way. Nice to see the birds have gotten into the spirit of spring.

Just out of curiosity...

Professionally speaking. How would you like to do your craft on a couple groundhogs? One from the Pennsylvania area, and one from the Wiarton, Ontario area.
(just kidding)

Enjoy your spring.

Taz, I must be tired, LOL. I just figured outwhich groundhogs you were speaking of. DUH. Do you still have snow up there? It's been in the 70's and 80's here, but Monday morning it was 32, and the March wind is about to blow us away.

Trade you the Bluebirds for:

A Hoot Owl that never shuts-up all night long.
A pair of Red Tailed Hawks that moved in and are ridding the surrounding countryside of every gray squirrel for miles.
A murder of crows that begin a noisy trash picking shortly after sun-up.
Some wild turkeys that won't move out of the road until you practically run-over them.

Too cold for me Taz.

Rick, we have plenty of owls. Between them and the bobcats, my poor guineas have numbered days. [&o]
Have a pair of hawks that nest nearby every year.
No crows right now, put they'll be hear soon enough.
No wild turkeys either, wished we did though. I do have a "pet" turkey that almost became Easter dinner because he tried to fly on me. Then I decided that he'd be tough as a boot, he's 5 or 6 years old. Plus, he's my study subject for when I'm mounting turkeys, nothing like having live reference when trying to put one make together correctly.

Good Morning `Becky,
Thanks for sharing/posting your pictures.
I love all animals, even the `human ones, but I am always fascinated by diversities of so many various types that were created by the Master.
We sure have been blessed with so much that is `free.
I really enjoy watching them @ the ocean. I don't like what they drop on our cars,
and I think some of them do it on purpose : ) Especially it seems they don't like
Ford Products
We sure live on an amaz'in Planet with a lot of different species.
I hope we `all learn to take better care of our planet, & all the creations of `life.

~ Thank You ~

Taz... Spring is right on time here in Detroit! Look at Next Week, the low Temps are all above Freezing!!! And you know how we go... 40's 70s... We typically skip the 50s, 60s and go from having the Furance on to A/C... lol

I will probably go fishing this weekend...

Becky, thanks for posting the pics for those of us still caught in winter's cold fingers.

We had some half way decent weather yesterday. The forecast called for rain but at 9pm there still wasn't any? There is today, though. And chillier then yesterday.

Anyone know what the roads look like in MI? Still a lot of salt on them? It looks like I'll be celebrating my B-day in Michigan on saturday? They took Deb's mom to the ER on tuesday night. She was having difficulty getting her breath. I doubt I can persuade my parents to let me borrow their new Sebring and I know Deb wants to go see her mom.
So the '06 Monte will be making the trip.
(why don't I ever get to drive this car someplace I want to go?)
